Dark mode is the latest technology and it is now available by default in android 10. As it is not supported in the phones that can not upgrade to android 10. So this dark mode will be obtained by the android apps.
Night mode is the android app that I personally experienced and I will recommend this app as it really works for eye protection.
Night mode is also known as the light dimmer. It is also known as 3 modes as it will provide three modes of operation. Day mode will work for day time and will give the high brightness as in day time we need more brightness to see the phone screen. Night mode is the darken mode as it will work for the night time and brings the brightness to a comfortable level to see the screen. The third level is the auto mode which provides the automatic control of the brightness to this application.'
Blackout mode is the free app that will give you a better environment for work and for games.
